Here you can find an array of bespoke made items from bridal to the Ballroom and everything in between.
My love for sewing started when I was old enough to use a pair of scissors, needles and pins. Beginning with needle craft like cross-stitch and embroidery to making clothes for my toys. Then off to College for 4 years of fashion training and the discovery of the world of theatre costume. After another 3 years of costume training and a BA completion I stepped out of the classroom and into the workroom.
Working in Theatre wardrobes across the country and beyond to Europe and even as far as the waves of cruise ship wardrobe life could take me (and that was far) I learned a great deal.
Finally opening my own business in 2007 working as freelance costume personnel in all elements of design and backstage costume and finally to where I am today making costumes for theatre and tv along with bespoke private garments. And design too.
My inspiration comes form many life experiences including my travels round the world. My love of nature and a passion for anything old, beautifully detailed and intricately crafted. But most of all I love learning new skills within the world of fabric and threads. Other than all this there is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with my family and hey even some archery coaching too.
