With over 10 years experience in costume construction and design, you can be confident I can make or design a single costume or production both professionally and to a high standard. With expertise ranging from dressing and maintenance to design, supervision, and decoration, I am dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. From constructing undergarments and corsets to adding exquisite finishing touches like beading, embroidery, and custom fabric work, I can bring your costume vision to life. Along with the above I have made masks and some props such as fans as well as shoe coverings. I am not a milliner but do have great decoration and trimming skills.

Design through to creation...
The first part of the process starts with your free consultation, this is where we run through your ideas, visualisations, costs and time frames!
Gather inspiration, conduct thorough research on the character or theme, and develop a concept for the costume design.
Create initial sketches and renderings to visualise the design concept, considering factors such as silhouette, colour palette, and fabric choices.
Select appropriate fabrics and materials based on the design vision, considering factors such as texture, drape, durability, and historical accuracy (if applicable).
Transform the design into a physical garment through pattern-making, cutting, sewing, and detailing. Conduct fittings and adjustments to ensure the costume fits well and achieves the desired look.
